Cinnar Hawke verse

just varrichawke things:
If Varric is in relationship with Hawke, he gives them LOADS of nicknames
all of them affectionate, some outright embarassing

Kayode Hawke verse

+ Bethany

Look I can profess my ethernal love for warden!Bethany all day but the thing i found most delightful was the fact that in act3 she LITERALLY CAN KICK ANYONE’S ASS EVEN HER BROTHER’S
like thats not even a headcanon
her attack stat is the highest in the party
she has more hp than rogues, not to mention other mages
warden!Bethany is literally strong as hell

+ DA:I (Hianthe Adaar)

So yesterday at 3am i thought about this au…
you know how da2 is told through unreliable narrator and people’s been using that for lots of things? but what if we take it to the next logical step:
What if Hawke is entirely fictional character
so, the rest of the crew is real. Hawke technically is too: they are based on Carver & Bethany’s older sibling who died fighting that damn ogre. But Hawke, the Champion, is fictional. Everything ‘the Champion’ did? Was done by one or the other member of the crew.
I mean, it can make sense: Varric made up ‘the Champion’ to protect his friends. Templars ask ‘who let those mages escape’ and Varric is like, ‘uhh, The Champion obviously’ because he can’t just say ‘oh, well, that apostate drinking in the corner’. ‘So, who owns the damn Bone Pit?’ - ‘uhh, tHE CHAMPION’. ‘Some weirdo is squatting in this mansion in Hightown’ - ‘lOOK he’s the champion of kirkwall this estate was his family’s for generations and he rightfully retook it from the slavers’

And then he cant just tell Cassandra where Hawke is because thats his biggest bluff: there aint no Hawke at all. And while everyone is chasing Hawke, nobody is chasing other members of the band, so. (Oh, and Hawke later appearing in Inquisition? one of the twins, obvs)
